Heyo beautiful ECC'ers! I have about 70k stored up at the moment and am approaching the point where I can apply for a Spawn-Town Portal. But, my town is a pre-built medieval style and I'm only 1/3 of the way to the point where I view myself as ready to go public. Therefore, I'm not sure if a portal would be the smartest investment and am considering saving up to buy two gift cards instead for Water. The downside is that I'll have to save up another 35k and then regain the 75k to get a portal. Please leave any feedback you can provide in the comments below about what you think would be best. Portal before water because once you get the portal, you will have a better chance of getting people to buy plots. Once you get the portal it makes everything easier and you can sell more plots. Selling more plots= more money. This way you will get money faster and will soon get the 2 gift cards you wanted
If you want make your town public I'd get a portal. If you're not ready to open the town and you're building something with water, like a farm, then you should get water.
You can just buy water from somebody. You dont need to buy the 2 giftcards and also you will save the 5$ extra you will have left over.
Fair enough, though I would like to get Water soon anyway in order to give back to the Residents of the town so they have easy access for free water placements.
