minecraft name: joseph01234 glitch: whenever I use tombstone and fall in lava it only works about 25% of the time. instructions 1. hold anything 2. fall in lava 3. go back to that lava 4. discover that none of you're items are there result: rarely do you find your items in the chest Idealistic result(I say this instead of expected result as I tested a few times after losing my super pick and armour): finding your items in a chest where you died. evidence: I do not have screenshots but as one can probably see I have tombstone, and if possible one could look in the servers logs and see me falling in lava once, then over and over again to test. additional information: I understand that this cannot necessarily fix this as it is more a problem with minecraft itself, but I would like to request that I could get either my items back or 15000 ecodollars to repurchase my items. the items were a: efficiency 4 unbreaking 3 fortune 3 pick feather falling 4 fire protection 4 diamond boots respiration 3 aqua affinity 1 protection 3 diamond helmet the rest of my inventory was the spoils of that particular mining trip, I understand that its my fault for dying but I bought tombstone with the understanding that I would keep my items upon death, making me play less cautiously. thanks for reading this request
You will not get your items back and you will not receive a refund. If Andrew and wewin refunded all items lost or broken in the history of Ecc, the server economy would just go down.
I understand that it wrecks the economy, but the whole purpose of tombstone is so that when you die you can gain back your items, seems as though I paid fifteen dollars for nothing, I tested with a few other methods of dying, I haven't tried in PVP as I would like to think it doesn't work there. But whenever I kill myself through fall damage it rarely works either. I can see exactly how it breaks the economy if no one is buying new tools but the whole reason I bought tombstone was so I no longer needed to remake my tools, if I'm not going to get my items back I'd like to request a refund of my donation or a transfer to pyro, but tombstone really was not worth paying for.
I fell from height in my own town in the main world as well as the aether and tombstone worked both times. I cannot test in lava as I have pyro+ I just tested, if you do not change anything in your inventory upon pulling materials out of a tombstone that was previously placed, it will not create a new tombstone. You have to change at least one slot in your inventory, such as picking up flowers/dirt or going through a locked chest or picking up multiple tombstones.
I mostly died through lava, although after dying that last time I decided to test a bit more, it seems as though whenever it mostly doesn't work if I die between blocks, then gives me the message saying something about tombstone could not be placed here, I would assume thats supposed to happen but I wouldn't imagine it being to difficult to have the plugin drop it randomly between any of the blocks you died on, it happens any world I happen to die in, so long as I'm in between blocks.
