Hi there, I'd really like a star tool. Except, I don't know to raise enough funds to get one. Can some of you give me some tips or pointers to get started?
Just go ham and farm until you regret the amount of time you spent doing the same thing for hours on end.
Well, as Goats said, you could try melons. They're known to make a fair bit of money with a good farm setup and certain features. I personally am cocoa farming, but those need to be replanted, unlike melons. You could also try SG if you're good at it and have the ability to do so. There's also mining, which is good but only during the first week or so of the reset. Afterwards, it's been torn up by eff7's, so you'd need to go a while to get anything. It's honestly what you are up to, and have the resources available to do.
I'm probably not the best to say anything as 70% of my money has been from selling features...but I'd suggest starting with cheaper tools and working my way up... a fort 3 pick, pumpkin axe, lure 3 rod, whatever (fort 3 is my fav)... I can't recall if you have nether access but someone put out a good tutorial on magma mining...it work, prolly better than regular mining... high risk but some fire prot pots, macros if you use them...it makes good money...use forum bank to limit lotto waste...having it tied up in stocks or just out of your balance can help you save... it adds up quick... I personally don't like renting as you give half what you make to renters and probably would have made the same doing something else. I like to farm, mine, and fish so I don't get bored. Good luck! And when I say dont lotto, dont fucking lotto.. its useless and its a waste, even when you think you might win you wont.. the only thing you should spend your money on and the ONLY thing is max tools, so if your gonna go mine, go buy a max fort pick. Just mind man, its good money. But you dont need to spend your money on ANYTHING! potatos? Find one or buy ONE and make a farm, use fort 3 to get more taters. Just mine and sell to server or sell to shops if you find a better price, you will get there.. Like I have said save your money and DO NOT spend ANYTHING! save it up dude, you will get there. Nope (Why is my ecc life so miserable?) D: Mswords make about 20k an hour, you can rent one for 5k so you make 15k and farming melons is actually quite interesting.
Wrong, you only need a full set of fire prot armor, you are able to swim in lava like water then. Get a eff7 you see something different every time, not like melons where its the same thing over and over again. Trust me I bought a melon sword and sold it 2 weeks later because I hated it!
eff7. You don't need Pyro+, don't listen to Potato All you need is a Prot 4 set and reaction time under 10seconds I made 1mil with a melonsword and I have never spent my time worse, so boring
If you can't afford your own star tools, I wouldn't rent from someone else... logic tells you that you will have problems paying the person back if something happens to the tool. Just a word of advice. As for how to make money, for around $10k (maybe slightly cheaper), you can buy a pumpaxe with eff5 and unbreak3 on it. Take that and get perms to Hawaii (/warp Hawaii) or another big pumpkin farm and just farm your lil heart out. I had a friend, she would play a few hours every evening. I gave her a pumpaxe to start her off and got her perms to Hawaii. She was a builder. Just slightly over 2 weeks she ranked from builder to president. That's $280k in 2 weeks! So take that and say you make $140k a week, times that by 10 weeks... that's 1.4 mil and should get you any star tool of your choice. I know it's 10 weeks and you'll be seeing orange everywhere and dreaming about pumpkins, but that's called grinding and pumpkins farming is the easiest and safest thing to do. Honestly though, everything that's been suggested here is good advice. There is so many ways to make money, you just have to find what works for you and stick with it.
Fishing is pretty safe too, and a max rod is around the same price and you can make a fair amount fishing with a max rod on a fishing table can make 5-7k pretty easy if you sell your exp. So just sayen, it's easy too and pretty safe
