    Many people have been complaining about our Pay2Win system and I very much agree. If you want to make tons of money on ECC you need to donate or at least buy donations. SG? You need to buy some kits to make money off of that. EFF7 mining? Need pyro+. Melon farming is the only thing that you don't really need donations for, and that takes 1mil to get a msword.

    We have all seen many new players complain about donators "cheating" by getting OP items, and many builders complain about that. We have many builders who leave each day due to these kits. BFR and MIQ are naturally unfair since they make it so you can practically insta-kill users who don't kit.

    God mode
    After thinking about donators abilities for a while, I've began thinking that we kinda have a god mode on ECC. With /feed, /speed and /fly commands you can easily escape any danger and be mostly unkillable with those features. Its unfair that donators get to be almost invincible while non-donators have to play survival vanilla minecraft.

    Vanilla features
    Ok, I myself and many other players have the same question: Why do I have to pay to use an anvil??? Many people want to play ECC somewhat like vanilla minecraft, an enchant their items. Letting normal players use anvils would also help the economy since it would create demand for Ebooks. Why are we charging players to play normal minecraft?

    These are my thoughts on the current donator abilities and I'd like to hear your opinions on this also, thanks for reading!

    I'm sorry but this is wrong.

    1) There is a 1/4 chance of a no kit sg game. So no you don't need loads of kits all the time. And all you need to do is improve your pvp skills.

    2) You don't NEED Pyro+ for EFF7 mining although it is advisable.

    3) Players haven't got God mode on ECC, only SA+ All servers have features like this on them.

    4) This is not a 'Easy economy for lazy players' Its a Hard-core economy....

    I think you should make a suggestion if you have an idea that you want to be considered :)

    Exactly what Slayer says.
    In addition, not one single player is required to make a single donation. It is 100% the choice of each individual member and what level of playing they wish to have. As for anvil, enchants and repairs, there are many players that offer these services at either a very reasonable cost or even free. Once again, your choice if you would like to spend your money on the services or the feature.
    Not to mention that it not even necessary to spend real money as features can be purchased from players that are willing to donate for you in exchange for in game dollars.
    Finally, every player has to choose if they feel that playing here is worth it or not to them and whether the server is worth it to them to financially support it. I personally choose to support ECC because I enjoy playing here and I enjoy having the features I have.

    While I agree with some of your points, namely #1 and 2. However, I'm not necessarily a fan of responses 3 and 4, as well as your final comment to be honest. @unitedstates2002 does bring up a valid point that you are nearly invincible, and I don't disagree. Having Fly+, Tombstone (no matter how buggy), /back, ExtCommands+, Pyro+, Water+, and the other features does make me nearly invincible. It costs a lot, however, to even get to that point, so I mean, it's fair I guess for the price.

    As for #4, yes, we are to have a hardcore economy environment. That's expected. However, it's not necessarily "whining" on unitedstates2002's end by saying that he believes that perks are too overpowered. Without people requesting and bringing up the need for change, nothing would happen. Talking and openly stating opinions is good, even if it is against your own.

    And, to conclude my counter-points, I say that we should indeed keep talking about donations and how to make them fairer. Because, that's what ECC is known for: assisting the needs and wants of the community. How are Phys and Andrew supposed to make changes if they don't know what's in our best interest? The main way to do this is to vocalize.


    My opinion on this situation:

    SG is what it is. Not alot to say there xP

    "God mode" is sort-of there, but it costs over $1,000 USD or 7,500,000 ECD to even get a taste of it. That's the same cost as EcoMaster and EcoLegend combined.

    Paying to use anvils...Well, I don't really know. I've worked with it for so long that I can't give an objective opinion, so I won't.

    TL;DR: I don't mind the donator perks. We just need to use them wisely to assist newer players instead of shutting them down when they request for it.

    You are asking questions and stating opinions but you are providing literally no solution.
    If you have a suggestion regarding a specific kit/etc feel free to make a suggestion thread and be productive about it.
    (We've recently made quite a few changes, looked at quite a few suggestion thread. Buffer for example. We absolutely welcome all suggestion threads!)
    If you are implying you want to change what we've been doing for years by removing donation features, it won't happen.

    Simply not sure where you're going with this. I suggest making separate suggestions in our suggestion forum instead.

    PS: No one is forcing anyone to play on ECC. Those who enjoy it stay. Those who don't leave. We do our best to make it enjoyable for as many as possible, but of course cannot make everyone happy; although we try and have been going over suggestions more and more lately. Many thanks to all our loyal players who have continued to play on the server and be a part of the community for so long! <3

    Anyways, please lets take this to the suggestion forum... and list some actual solutions, get community opinions, etc.

    1. Yes, I did get a bit wrong on SG, but I still see builders complaining about kits

    2. But it is advisable, but pyro+ takes away from the vanilla element

    3. You can come pretty close to /god, with those donations I listed. And no, just no. There are many server who don't have features like that, so no that's no true.

    4. How exactly did you come across that, lol. If anything, donator abilities take away from the hardcore economy aspect, and make you lazy. I am a donator, and I would say that my abilities, /warp, /back ect. are making me very lazy.

    Well... You can't make everyone happy.

    Exactly, if the supporter doesn't want to experience the vanilla element, he/she can purchase the upgrade.

    Isn't that a shame...

    If we made most of the people on ECC happy about kits, there wouldn't be as much suggestions such as "Remove all kits", "Kits are too OP" ect.

    Almost everyone who "plays SG" (uses it as their source of income) has kits. No doubt about it. Thats quite a lot of people. However I don't fully understand what you meant by your previous post.
