I no longer play on ECC and I have been banned. I am a $60 donator and I regret donating to the server. Why am I like this you wonder? That's because the server relies heavily on raising lots and lots of money which takes a lot of time to attain. All the mods and very dedicated players always have a craptone of money while the relatively new people don't. This is understandable, but this created a system where the poor stay poor (unless they perform a miracle) and the rich get richer. Then there's the whole thing about, "What the hell am I gonna do with my money?" Okay, let's go buy exp and get super enchanted armour and weapons. *Die* So much for all that money I spent weeks to get just to get that set of super enchanted stuff. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO!! The server is super boring. You need to add more features which make it more interesting. I got so bored one day, I just decided to get myself banned for fun. Started a huge ruckus about a silly advertising matter got me banned, and that was the most fun thing that has ever happened on this server to me. Andrewjm I hope you take this into account so that EVERYONE will be satisfied and have fun. I'm not gonna bother doing ban appeal. There are tons of other servers out there that are way more fun.
A lot has changed since you were banned, and many new features were updated. I suggest getting unbanned to see what new things we have to offer. We now have SG, parkour, Build Events, and contests. These may pique your interest, and the contests/build events do reward you with money if you win. I hope you come back to the server because I have a lot I want to show you!
All you're doing here is whining. Offer up some real solutions or no one will take this thread or you seriously.
ECC needs a better well rounded economy where everyone has equal opportunities to strike it rich. Perhaps hide treasure chests in the mining world? Have lotteries that are more affordable to the poorer players. Perhaps find a way where the rich cannot monopolize the economy and prices of items, blocks, exp, etc.
There are equal opportunities to "strike it rich". You can start a loan business, flip star tools/towns, etc. I have seen many residents like you go from Resident to Tycoon because of taking advantage of markets when they are low and selling when the market is high.

I'll think about ban appeal. I did do one good deed before i left tho. I held a competition in chat, whoever could guess the item or block i was thinking of wins $25000. I believe a builder won so he was right on track to success. But anyways during the times I was playing was during the inflation so times were tough. If I join again I'll start fresh again like everyone else (except for my donation features). By what I'm hearing the server seems to be a lot better tho, I guess i underestimated ECC, my apologies.
I hope you come back to the server A lot has changed since you have left, including the addition of many new events and things to do I hope that you will consider coming back to the server And... this builder is constantly making it easier for builders to become successful. This is coming from a builder (me). With hard work and dedication, nothing is impossible. When you get set back... when you get knocked down... you don't lose. The only way for you to lose to is to stay down. Prove people wrong, stand back up, and continue working hard. With hard work, nothing is impossible on our server.
A lot of things are different. I have ups and downs on ECC, 2 weeks ago I was on every other day, and this week I'm on like 2 hours a day working on a town redesign. Just find something cool to do!
I think one of the main reasons why I “rage quit" was because I couldn't get enough money to become a mayor. I always wanted to have a town and stuff, but I was never able to achieve it through the 2 years of playing. It's been around a year and a half since I was banned, and I do kind of miss Minecraft servers with relatively friendly communities. Anyways, to conclude this I am going to file a ban appeal
