I just recently joined ECC, and I tried to learn all the commands and get involved with the mods. However, every time I try to do something, something goes wrong. When I attempt to lock a chest (/cprivate) it says access denied. When I try to start an auction (for fun), it tells me that "You can't do this while ignoring auctions" I really don't know how to fix this, and no-one online seems to want to help. If you didn't figure this out already, I'm in "Builder" status. I need help and/or future advice
It's probably because you are in the mining world and you can't lock things there. If you buy a plot in a town you should be able to lock chests then. Try typing /ch auc in game then auctioning the item Hope this helped!
Hi @egg_roll, and first off, welcome to ECC! I'm sure you'll love the server, and become a wonderful community member in no time! To address your questions: 1. Sometimes I've had issues with the /c[lock type] command, but to make a private lock, you can just do /lock. 2. Type /ch auc to stop ignoring actions, this should help that problem. If you need more help, I'm logging on right now!
Thanks! This really helped. I do still have a further question about increments. Is it a percentage of the starting price? The wiki doesn't help much
Increment is how much the bid has to go up by every time. For example, if I did /auc apple 100 50, bids would have to go up in increments of at least 50 starting at $100.
I am familiar with life mechanics. However, there is an error message saying it is too low or too high. I want to know the math limits. Sorry for not being clear.
Another noob request (you'd think I ran out). How do you delete a home? I tried "/delhome name" but it said that I do not have access to this command. Is it because I'm in the mining world? Or because I don't have residency? Wild guesses here.
