What is the_town?

The_town is a town that was originally started by "Turtwig2014". However, through different transactions the town owner is now "willclo" and it has been that way since 2-16-2015. Because this is a relatively new town, we currently do not have a portal nor a warp. However, we do have many other perks which will be listed below.

Where is the_town?

Due to the fact that the_town does not currently have a warp or a portal, there are 3 options to arrive at the_town.
1. PM or Mail "willclo" for a tp to the_town
2. Do /sethome to be able to arrive back with /home
3. Go to the town posts located at these coordinates:

What are the_town's perks?
Farms:

The_town started out by only having an 8x20 automatic wheat farm and a 20x50 sugarcane farm. However, now we have added a 100x200 wheat farm and plan to add other farms above this one such as a Pumpkin Farm, a Melon Farm, a Sugarcane Farm, a Coco Bean Farm, a Potato Farm, and a Carrot Farm. However, the large 100x200 farms aren't available for free to town members, they must be purchased which is shown in the "Farm Perms" section. Finally, the_town has a fishing pond which allows for anyone to go fishing at any time.

Features:

Just by owning a plot at the_town you are offered all of the features owned by "willclo" for free, which include:

What kind of homes are offered at the_town and how much ECD would they cost?
Plots:

At the_town we offer plots sized at 11x11 and plots that are 26x11. The 11x11 plots cost $750 ECD, and the 26x11 plots cost $1500 ECD. (If you would like a custom sized plot to be added for you, PM "willclo" to discuss the cost.

Pre-Built Houses:

At the_town we also offer a wide variety of Pre-Built Homes. These Pre-Builts range in their designs and their size. If you would like to purchase a Pre-Built House at the_town, you would have to visit the house and check the price that is posted at the front door.

Apartments:

Finally, the last living option at the_town are the apartments. The_town has a small hotel (which is growing) that houses two apartments per floor. These apartments cost a $200 down payment and a $100 charge per week. They include a furnace, a double chest, a crafting table, and a bed in a small area with windows. Feel free to place blocks inside of your apartment so long as you don't break the ones already existing.

What if I don't want a plot, but I am interested in your farm?
Small Farm Perms:

For a small price of $250 you can recieve access to our small automatic wheat farm and our current sugarcane farm.

Large Farm Perms:

However, for a larger price of $5000, you would receive permanent life-long perms (as long as you don't break the rules listed below) to our 100x200 farm which will include EVERY farm crop in MineCraft.

What are the rules for the_town?
Town Rules:

The_town has a set of town rules like any other town. These rules are strictly enforced and if not followed exactly as stated you will be banned from the_town.

1. No griefing in the_town.
2. Replant/Replace all of the seeds or blocks that you break.
3. Inactivity in /seen for one week will lead to removal of your plot and LWCs. (If you would like the plot back it will have to be purchased for its original price)
4. Complete all of your payments on time. (This only applies to players renting an apartment or players that owe "willclo" money.
5. Mayors have final say over all issues and disputes
6. Not following these rules will result in a permanent ban from the_town

What do I do if I don't have the money, but I really want a plot?
Discounts:

At the_town, we offer discounts for only players who are the "builder" rank. "Builders" will receive a $250 discount from all plots and Pre-Builts. "Builders" will receive a $100 discount from "Small Farm Perms". Finally "builders" will receive a $750 discount from "Large Farm Perms".

Payment Plans:

To gain instant access to a plot or farm if you don't have the money, "willclo" offers payment plans. These will usually say that you will have to pay 25% more for your purchase, however you will have a fair amount of time to get the money. (The amount of time given to acquire the money will be determined by "willclo" when the payment plan is discussed.

Can I make money without buying perms to the_town?
Jobs:

At the_town, "willclo" offers jobs to anyone who is in need of one. However, farming jobs are the only ones being offered at the moment. The way a farming job would work is:

1. Farm the crop
2. Replant all seeds
3. Sell all remaining seeds to the sign at the entrance of the farm
4. Sell all crops at the entrance of the the farm
5. Receive your payment based on the amount of crops farmed (Payment will be discussed with "willclo")

Is the_town a part of any organizations?

The_town is an official member of the "ECC United Nations". As owner, "willclo" is an ambassador for the UN representing the_town. If you have any suggestions for laws or ideas which should be added to the UN, make sure to check out the official thread and /mail willclo.
