What is the Winter Gala:

The winter gala is a server wide community party that yours truly will be hosting, the party will have many events for everyone to partake in, list will be listed bellow. Entry is a 100% free but donations are welcome , also listed bellow. I plan to make this quite a ball and all it requires is a bit of your help and for people to show up.

What events are their to partake in

Some of the events I have planned to take place:
A 2 man team battle off, consisting of 8 events to win a prize of 800k total (400k each). The events will be kept secret til the day of the event and each person will switch for events so be ready for anything
*If you do not have a set teamate, sign up with it being left blank and I will randomly assign you someone that also does not have one.

A sing off: Theme Winter/Holiday cheer, Japanese Anime theme (These are tricky and I do love a good intro/outro props if you can do this theme well), and Happy/upbeat songs. Prize will be Legacy statue 4.

A giveaway: By showing up to this event and signing in, you will be given 1 entry to win a full stack of Sea Lanterns.

Fireworks: A minimum of 1 double chest will be gather and used for fireworks and it will be glorious.

Donation drive: I am thinking of making two community foundations to help people
1. A grant foundation : To provide funding for community builds and initiatives, will require a extensive registration and forum contract
2. CD Care Package foundation: A spontaneous service to supply people with supplies whether it be food, small quantities of funds, tools etc. The recipients will receive things at my digression (IE a resident died while mining, I gave him Armour and tools. Person was hungry so I dropped off food. Perhaps if a builder needs a few dollars for resident I will send it over.
(Still thinking how to set this up. Perhaps either a forum auction or ingame auction via auction plugin)

Secret Santa: A way to bring the community closer together, I will take in names of those who want to participate. I will randomly give out names to those who wish to participate to gather a gift for.

What are the rules

All rulings are final for any contest
No fighting, whether that be with fellow competitors, the judge or staff. This is an event to bring the community closer.
No griefing for any reason
No cheats, whether that be hacked clients or features. You must disable fly and speed and all other cheats. Food will be provided.

Any breaking of the rules will cause an eviction from the party and a report to be made in the case that server rules are broken.

How do I sign up

How can I help

I would appreciate any help to make this happen. Here is a list of things that you can do if you want to help

Jobs before the event
Clearing: I am clearing the town of mistrill that I have just claimed to expand party nation
Building: After the land is cleared I will need to tear down the wall and build expand it. I could also use people to help design and build events
Redstoner: I am planning to place redstone lamps so that I can control the lighting. I also need to setup a fireworks display

Jobs during the event
Co-Host: General help to setup events, help set the scene, design events, decorate and other things I may call upon them for.

Entry man: To note down the people that come to the event for giveaway and records.

Donations:
Please define if the donation is for me (As a thank you gift/supplies) , to sponsor an event or for decoration/town info, or towards the drive/foundations

All donators (montary/Item/work donators) will get V.I.P access which is a gift, V.I.P lounge, the chance to design a firework, a chance to decorate the place/tree, a shout out the day off, advertisement at /warp cash_money until the day after the event
All staff that were/are staff during the year of 2016 are granted V.I.P Access. I as host can grant special V.I.P access to my friends/people I see fit
All donations will be given a coupon to rent the host town, Party Nation

Plan on from tommorow on to do some major grinding to get the place cleared out and things to start falling in together

For ALL STAFF from this YEAR (IE Jan 1 2016 ---> Present) pm me if you wish to have V.I.P Access, I need to start gathering gunpowder so that you guys can design a few firewroks as well a christmas tree to hang decorations on for those who want to.

Going to transfer all the prizes and revamp vip status and how the main challenge will go down

New name is now Springs Revelation and will have a seperate post for it soon, event will take place during the first week of spring probably on the 25th most likely.

 

I am dually sorry but I cannot feasibly clear 3 towns , gather the gunpowder and make 500k to fulfill my standards for my first server party
I promise to make the Spring's revelation top notch and I will have fireworks on the 28th in the mean time
Going to make the 8 round competition 5 man group single man over time and have the finally the day off.
