The Story of Me

I decided to write a story about my life in EcoCityCraft. Why? I don't know.

Edit: This may be too long for the average EcoCityCrafter to comprehend. So here's a summary:

Joined EcoCityCraft on April 24th.
Got Tycoon 4 hours later.

Builder: I joined the forums on May 31, 2012, so I probably joined this server a few days earlier. I started playing with my IRL friend drowsydumdumboy. He quit a few months ago because he accidentally spent all his money on "unlimited teleports" from someone thinking that it was the actual feature. We started mining by going through a build gate and we found some diamonds, so we decided to stay in the server. Someone told us to vote, so we did. We both wanted a plot, so kevin24068 offered us both a 10x10 plot for $900. The next day, we voted again and bought another 10x10 plot to build a pumpkin farm. I paid the co-mayor $1K for permission to build down to bedrock. I farmed it until I had enough money for Resident.

Resident: My first taste of Resident wasn't exactly great. My Resident Application almost got declined. The next day, the Mayor threatened to evict and report me. He said that I couldn't build down to bedrock and whoever let me do it was going to get reported. So I fled his town. I had enough money to buy a 50x50 plot, so iHydroponic offered me one in his town. I hired a Resident to help me build a pumpkin farm there. I decided to have him build a 10 story 50x50 pumpkin farm. I farmed completed parts of the farm while my builder helped me build the rest of it and Kahnito installed lifts for me. He had a nice wheat farm right next to my pumpkin farm. But by the time it was finished, I had enough money for Mayor. So I sold the farm to a Builder for 60K and fled the town. Applied for Mayor.

Edit: Somewhere in between, I got reported by my Mayor for verbal assault.

Mayor: I was inspired by AGGERPAKKER's multi-story 200x200 pumpkin farm when he let me use it as a Resident. So I decided to build my own 3 story 200x200 pumpkin farm in my new town. I hired some builders to help me clear the plot, and I realized that I accidentally placed my plot next to Anokfero's. That pissed him off for some reason. I bought perms to a decent pumpkin farm owned by xlq8 so I could have a steady source of income to hire people to build my pumpkin farm. I farmed and hired people to build. This continued for about two weeks. After two weeks, I finally had enough money for the shiny new rank of President. But, three hours before my President Application would have been approved, my Dark Days began.

Dark Days: Three hours before my President Application would have been approved, I saw a Builder advertising donation features. He offered Fly for 60K and Water for 20K. You can guess what happened. I was mad, but I decided to continue farming and try to earn my rank back again. I used a gift card to buy Fly and sell some donation features. A couple days pass, and I almost have President again. I wanted to give back to the server again because it has done so much for me, so I decided to buy a donation feature from a trustworthy person the second time. I was 100% certain that Joe105 was trustworthy, so I gave him $55K worth of diamonds for TeleportPlus. Apparently, his account was hacked. At this point, I was moderately mad. I was contemplating whether to quit the server or not. This was the bottom of my Dark Days. But a chain of events following this lead to where I am now.

Bright Days: Fortunately, Tkick was online and he tried to talk me out of it. I finally decided to give the server another shot. A random thought came to me. I wondered if Karma was real. So I bought one lotto ticket. I won a 22K lottery. So then I bought 22 lotto tickets. I won a 60K lottery. So I actually made a profit from that stupid scammer. I also realized that my farm was almost finished, the third story just needed planting and hoeing. I hired Giant_Leader to finish it, fired him, then hired Cindy_John to finish it. Pumpkin prices dropped to $1 the day I finished my 3 story 200x200 pumpkin farm. I gave up on pumpkin farming and pre-sold my second town for 50K President to Mustacher. I had just enough money for President after pre-selling my second town, so I made my President Application and made sure I didn't buy any donation features beforehand.

President: You know that feeling when you're so close to your goal that you would do anything to reach it? Well, that's how I felt as a President. I had to leave for Australia in less than a week and I WANTZ TYCUNE! So I opened a casino, sold perms to my farm, sold co-mayorship to my farm, and eventually sold the farm itself. I got 550K in three days. I applied for Tycoon two days before I had to leave. Happiest day ever.

Gone for Australia for 1 month.

Tycoon: Account gets hacked, Andrewkm and rabidworm help me out, and I decide to have my new account named DFat because of a forum insult.

I'm currently farming in a decent 16x16 wheat farm in a quiet town, saving up for nothing in particular.

 

I'm officially done.

Added the first and only time I was reported. It was for verbal assault.
