I would like to say that this event was a success, but it wasn't. It was a lot more than that - it was the best pivillean event I experienced so far! I saw more people with /near than I usually see at rising spawn...at this point, an extreme thanks. A thanks to all spectators for celebrating in Piville, my proud nation. And a very big thanks to all donors, especially @Danielman33, @Imabankthing, @Krobkins and @zorracraft and all other supporters for their awesome donations! Without your help this wouldn't have been possible! Now, some nice statistics. According to my balance, 12 shouts were made because of this event. 13 stacks of rockets were fired, all split into quarter stacks for every dispenser. 6 stacks required 18 stacks of gunpowder, 6 stacks required 12 stacks of gunpowder and one stack of fireworks requiring 4 stacks of gunpowder. This amasses to a total of 31 stacks of gunpowder, meaning 1984 items of gunpowder which equals 9920$ according to server worth. (Not including dyes, feathers, glowstone dust, heads and fire charges.) However, since market prices are between 20$ and 50$ per gunpowder, you can imagine the extreme amount of money that was annihilated during this event. (Also 12,000$ for the shouts ) I was forced to cut the video because of an original size of 1.6 GigaBytes. The cut version measures 997 MegaBytes and the current ETA of youtube until the upload completes is at 969 minutes as I post this. (However, I found out that the upload time is never correct. ) Happy new year everybody! P.S. The Piville story will feature this show, too. (Although with slightly different outcome... )
Thanks so much for posting the video - I was out of town and missed it. 314, that was a mighty fine show you put on!!
So, I am currently taking down the remains of the celebration...if anybody is interested: Here you can see the redstone that kept the fireworks, the happiness and the lag alive.
