The new pumpkin prices *Please read*

i agree with everything in this suggestion, no need to add anything, though a gameadmin that actually farms, would be good, i think the idea of a committee i think would be better consisting of players from all the aspects of ECC both mining farming and some big builders(not the rank] as well. please take what sonny said into consideration.

 

Agreed. And I want a MINER in the game admin group. We are not represented! Lol

 

I aggree 100% on what he saying and not to disrespect the admins but hes right they dont farm and they are just spreading hatred on the farming industry. And most people farm because of the mining world because when you walk into the mining world your followed and killed and they target the builders so their oonly option is to farm the price should atleaast be raised to 1.25 or higher but $1 is not reasonable at all.

 

Personally pumpkins should go lower. The farm to mining ratio is still very off and it needs to be balanced.

Also, you can still make 20k an hour with pumpkins, this is more than enough and the price won't go up or down anymore unless there is some way people can make a lot more money with it again.

 

I think pumpkin prices are way too overpriced they should go down to $.25

 

I have to say, NO. The people that want pumpkin prices up are those that 100% rely on pumpkins for money. I have seen what has been going on. Multi-level 200x200 Pumpkin Farming Complexs. People who use those have become insanely rich, above everyone by hundreds of thousands of dollars. Personally, I am sick of it. And then, the people with all the money complain that they can't have the pumpkin prices back too get more money, while others rejoice about the leveled farming prices. Players with giant farms have had their "fun" and now its time for mining and farming to be somewhat balanced again. And also, to people know, I am not comlaining because I dont have or have access to a 200x200 farm, I do have access to a 200x200 farm, but I haven't really ever used it to the extent that I am so much richer thatn everyone else.

That is one of the main reasons pumpkins were lowered, because people became "obsessed" with their farms. They donated for e repairs and bought towns, just so they could farm. And because so many people have made having a 200x200 farm a neccesity, pumpkin prices were lowered. Its not impossible for those with giant farms to maintain the high income they are used to, it will just take more time and effort.

I'm sorry, but the game admins don't need to be farmers to know what's good for it... In fact, from the looks of it, it's probably better they aren't farmers. Everyone who farms only farms and doesn't know how much money everything else makes and how over powered pumpkin farming is. Mining doesn't make nearly 15k an hour, yet you guys are saying that's not even enough for pumpkin farms? Look at the big picture please. I don't feel like making a huge post right now. >.>

Respect the Game Admins and their decisions, they spent a lot of time calculating and thinking about and didn't just throw it in place. If you must complain about prices, bring up actual arguments other than how you don't make enough money anymore when in reality you make way more than enough and more than everyone else.

Mining still makes less money than farming, that's why the prices were up for a little while... Then they went back down. And everyone already does have a fortune III pickaxe.

 

I got those numbers from AGGERPAKKER, someone who farms all the time.

lol us miners dont rlly get anything for mining, i was mining for 5 hours yesterday, got around... $100 dollars tops.
Mining is no where near the prices of farming and that is why the admins are fixing the prices, making it a "little" more balanced, if you saw it from our eyes you would see that we (miners) need to get money to, we shouldn't have to rely on farming just to get money, we should be able to do what we like and still get some money.

 

Since you have already made the point that you are a die hard pumpkin farmer. Let me enlighten you about a residents view on both farming and mining.

Mining​

Mining is generally the first thing you start to do when you join the server. Then you use the money to buy better picks and more material, maybe even a plot. Even after I left the wild and joined a town. I still mined for money. Even though many people told me to farm. Then I finally heeded to their advice and began to use the local poking farm. I quickly noticed the difference and began to farm poplins an plant wheat for Tkick. I eventually got resident with alittle help and continued with pumpkin farming. Then I lived in SV and then dual housing in machupicchu and then to my current residence(s) in SV and tweenleaf. In tweenleaf, we only have a melon farm and a semi auto wheat + I am working on a sugarcane farm as I type this. Most of this wa funded by my drive to mine.

Farming​

Farming has always been a rich mans game. Massive pumpkin farms dominate the landscape. If you count all the farms from the live map in comparison to the regular city, you may see why farming has been nerfed. If a guy who was actually from PMC showed up and reviewed the server, he or she would downgrade us for being "a pumpkin server." ecc would lose a place in the top 10. Now, even without PMC, builders would be a bit discouraged. I have seen several other servers fall to the pumpkin drug. They lose popularity with newcomers and fall in the ratings, eventually imploding on themselves and losing all fan base. This may be worse case but it is never the less possible.

My Two Cents​

Farming in general should be equal to mining. Period and end of story.

Why dont u just make pumpkins 1.50and jus increase like diamonds to 120 and iron to like 12 instead of making pumpkins 1.00.alot of players like me spaent alot of money and time to build a giant pumpkin farm to earn money om but nowvthe farms usage are down by like 30% and now our pumpkin farms are so much less efficient :evil: .so i was hoping if u could increase the prices of pumpkins back to 1.50 please please please pleaae....
