Well first off I just want to say that up to this point in my ECC career I have never had really bad lag. But since 1.5, the lag has gotten to a point where it is severly interfering with out work, Andrew even came on the server a few days ago said it was all on our end or Mojang coding. Well to prove that the server is lagging since 1.5, this screenshot confirms that the extreme lag everyone has been experiencing is from the server, not on our end. http://imgur.com/6TOejW3 As clearly seen, after the usual sniping of lotto, the server lag causes the lottery plug-in to believe that no one has bought a ticket and thus the loss of much money occured. Andrew, I am not trying to say how bad this server is, but I am simply making you aware of this current situation and would love to know when the server will return to normal functions. ~sick24
I have actually run the best on this server that I have since 1.2.5 thanks to the 1.5 update. But that is just me. This seems like a bug with the plugin itself, not with the lag.
Yes this is true . From the loss of my 10k to the lotto snipping and to the chunk not loading and the lag x, this might just be because the server was suffering lag this morning but I suggest mabey restarting it or give it some downtime .
1. We are not on 1.5. 2. The server is performing perfectly. I've been checking the TPS and it hasn't dropped to a point of even moderate concern.
The lag is likely based on the performance of your own system clashing with the performance of the 1.5 update of the Minecraft game, not the server. I was also experiencing lag, when others were not. It has nothing to do with the server itself. I recommend updating all of your drivers, perhaps something was updated in the new 1.5 that some of us haven't had updates in our drivers for. (I know some people run autoupdates with their drivers which allows them not to lag, even though auto updates are stupid unless you back up your drives) So... try to update your drivers and see if it helps, if it doesn't, then deal with the lag until we are completely a 1.5 server... otherwise, you are wasting your typing ability in making a post compliaining about the lag that MANY are experiencing.
