Over the last month or so i have noticed there has been a ton of lag/block lag during the up time don't mean to be a ### or any thing but its quite freaking annoying and it makes the game almost impossible to play any plans to fix this?
There's been much more lag over the past month because ECC got a new operating system. The past few days have been even worse because of the unloaded chunks from the map expansion
1: 1.3... enough said. 2: Map size has just quadrupled, and as new chunks are explored the lag will spike. Once the chunk settles, the lag will drop. There is a LOT of new land to explore. 3: Complaints are not helpful, and it has been asked to stop. You have been advised of why the lag exists. Either bear with it between restarts, play on off-peak hours, or stop playing when the lag gets bad.
Lag is normal on any server. ECC is huge and we just had a massive map expansion. Andrew has requested that you explore new regions of the map to help the server get used to it ad everything to settle in. Staff monitors lag constantly and we will contact Admins in the case that we need a restart. In the mean time, we ask that you do not complain. Locked.
