The pumpkin axe. A good middle point for players to have a general cash flow per hour somewhere between farming coco and melons. I've kindled a desire to obtain one of these mighty axes of pumpkin annihilation, but I am quite ignorant as to what all goes into a pumpkin axe. I've seen a couple of different enchantment combinations on axes being claimed as "pumpkin axes". So what is the truth? Could someone help this poor soul in obtaining the answers of what truly makes a pumpkin axe? It would be greatly appreciated. Ever since joining ECC a couple weeks ago, my quest for knowledge has been relentless. Though I know that knowledge is power and therefor am not afraid to ask the "dumb" questions. I feel that this is an amazing server, one that I will play for a long time to come. I appreciate you reading through my small posting here and do hope this was posted under the correct forum section. Thank you so much for your time and have a nice day. -Eros_Dynami
Efficiency V is the only base enchantment on a pumpkin axe. I would suggest adding Unbreaking onto it as well so as to save on erepair costs.
Some people also place fortune on them, though, I don't believe fortune would do anything on an axe. Or am I very wrong? :0
first off: can we change the title to elusive illusive just irks me. second eff5 unb3 is the typical: pump axe fortune or silk could also be there but is not required for pumpkins
Seeing as I meant illusive: producing, produced by, or based on illusion; deceptive or unreal; rather than elusive: difficult to catch; I see no problem with my title as I said precisely what I meant. I am deeply wounded by the fact this bothered you. I believe we can all move on from this with heads held high and new lessons learned. Not everyone sets out with the same vision in mind, do not try to twist others to your own as they may become highly offended. Thank you for the information you provided, the false bottoms of this illusive pumpkin axe are being found. It's all thanks to the readers of the forums, the people willing to go out of there way to help the newcomers like myself. Thank you so much and please have a wonderful day. -Eros_Dynami
Thank you guys so much for the help. This has definitely increased my knowledge of pumpkin axes and there enchantments. So happy this server is fun to play and full of active, helpful members. Again, thank you all so much. -Eros_Dynami
@Eros_Dynami if you need pumpkin farm perms cheap @Naereniv11 sells lifetime perms to a MultiCrop farm in PixelFarm (mostly pumpkins( for only 3k.
Thank you so much I will definately be looking for perms once I finish saving up my exp to make my own pumpkin axe. Taking things a little slower now seeing as I jumped into ECC sprinting to get ahead. Looking forward to a long association with the server. I see no reason to rush the young periods of my MC account. Again, thank you so much for the information and recommendation. You guys are awesome!
Indeed @duckman188, the people of the forums have made this thread packed tight with useful information. I am so happy people are willing to go out of there way to help the new players of the server. @thehockeykids2, I have never been good at the role-playing scene. I'm just not that creative when it comes down to it. I do like writing though so I will keep posting on the forums so that my knowledge can grow. Thank you for the suggestion though, for that I will at least go check it out. I like reading other people's materials =]
Well, a "Pumpkin Axe" is an Efficiency V, Unb III Diamond Axe. Some of them have fortune, but it doesn't fortune the pumpkins. Feel free to ask any more questions if you need them answered .
New update! I have bought my own pumpkin axe after many hours of mining and fishing! Doing a few tests I estimated you can make about 7k per hour without pausing. It may also depend on how quickly you can get e-reps, but with someone who is fast, you should make exactly 7k an hour and only need 3 e-reps per hour. I'm so happy I was able to make it this far on the server in such a short time. This may seem like nothing to some of the veterans reading this thread, but this is new and exciting for me. Thank you guys so much for helping me to make it this far. There is no way I would have came close without your help!
