I returned from an 18 month "vacation" back in Sept '14, and pretty much since November, and when anyone suggested just about anything to change ECC, the reply was "wait for the Hub, it'll be great!" So, it's now July of 2015. I haven't heard anyone on Staff say ANYthing about the "Hub" in 3-4 months. IRL, I play a Project Manager / Design Engineer, so I know schedules slip and project scopes change... but I usually get asked "so what's going on with xxxx project?" every week. We haven't had any announcements from the Upper Echelon of ECC in quite a while. Staff: Is it still being worked on? Do you (Upper Staff) need help? Is there anything we, the normal players (peasants) can do to make it easier to for someone(s) to work on it? Just a word (or 50) on progress would be nice And, as I mentioned, I AM an Engineer IRL, so I KNOW that "We're still working on it! In all honsety @GStoner3 I myself don't know, and I'm not just saying that, I honestly don't know. I am in the smae boat as you, it has been talked about for a while now, and I would like to know, for the servers sake, (and mine ofc XD) when it will happen. My guess would be that andrew, phys and dewsy will know, and possibly some, if not all of the Game Admins will know. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
It will happen when hell freezes over. its been a long time now if they really wanted to do it it would be done by now but that's just my opinion.

This line is simply fantastic. Anyway, I'm not directly involved in any of the preparation (plugin/software wise) for the hub, although I do probably know a little more than most people. We, as the administration, have been slow at getting this going and acknowledge that completely. In terms of working towards it, there were/are a few things that we want to get sorted before it is fully implemented. A real mix of ECC related updates/issues & rl have slowed down the whole process. From what my understanding of the situation is, I would be disappointed if this isn't up and running by the end of the summer. I know that this timing would be better now (ie. peak of the summer) but unfortunately this hasn't happened. Andrew mentioned a few days ago to me that him & Jamie were meeting up at some point this week to discuss it and the steps going forward etc. Unfortunately, I can't give a specific date. And that's what will I'll be doing this week, and probably the rest of the summer. As the cat's out the bag mostly, yes, I am working on the hub. But honestly, I have just as much info as you all do, probably even less.
