Sup My suggestion is a suggestion so don't act like young hooligans and start randomly posting **** (don't know if I can swear on the forums) just comment, be respectful and take a vote if u want to in my poll. So anyway let's get to it shall we, my suggestion is the mods/admins should come up with a completely new system of punishing players, My Steps In Punishing A Player 1- The player has done something wrong or accused to have done something wrong 2- Now the player has a option of if they want to settle this in the game or on the forums The steps now splits into if your OFFLINE or ONLINE at the time of the crime ONLINE 3- The Player is placed into JAIL 4- The Mod/Admin then goes to his cell and asks if he wants to go to Court and settle it online or if they want to settle it on the forums 5- If they want to settle it on the forums you follow the OFFLINE steps instead of the ONLINE steps 6- If they does go to court they will sit in front of a judge ( maybe some people can apply for being one on the forums? ) 7- In court there will be two desks ~the first being where the person that has been accused of the crime will sit ~the second being where the player/mod accused him of the crime 8- The Player or the Mod/Admin can bring in EVIDENCE/photos by posting links in game, bring in some WITNESSES etc 9- The Judge then decides on the punishment if they are guilty, or if there not guilty set them free ONLINE DONE ***********NOTE*********** If they are ONLINE or OFFLINE it doesn't matter which they are put into jail and not able to teleport or go home until there case is settled on the forums or in the game OFFLINE 3- The player is placed into jail until the case is settled 4- They go onto the forums and settle it normally ~But if they want to they can settle it in the game and settle a date with a judge ~If they don't reply to the jail on the forums they will have to stay in jail for the rest of there life <(0.0)> 5- If they reply they will settle it and be punished or set free OFFLINE DONE PUNISHMENTS LOW PUNISHMENT - Jail - judge/mod decides how long - for things like swearing, being rude etc LOW PUNISHMENT - Bail - judge/mod decides how much - has to pay EcoDollars to be set free (ONLY APPLYS TO LOW PUNISHMENTS) can only bail if they have the money MEDIUM PUNISHMENT - Kicked - judge/mod decides how long - for things like minor grief, continuing Low Punishments etc HIGH PUNISHMENT - Ban - MAJOR grief, CONTINUING medium punishments etc I think that's all ill post more if I remember some more stuff Thanks for reading, leave a comment and reply to the pole FullySickBro
To be honest I think that the current system is adequate and this would be to complex But this is not a bad suggestion but it sounds too political I would say no but if it can be designed to be less complex than maybe I will support it
Sometimes complex is better than simple, yeah sure it will take more time for people to be convicted...but we will have a more accurate outcome on punishing the player, and a better understanding of what happened. Now a few weeks back my friend got banned for apparently greifing (he was payed to clear some buildings from someone's land and this guy thought it would be fun to report him to the mods/admins for greifing) he did get banned but here's the thing he didn't have a email so he couldn't register for a account to make a ban appeal or communicate to the mods at all. If my system was applied he would be in jail, online and he would be able to discuss it in court and give evidence WHICH HE HAD and a witness that saw the chat at the time. I can understand people wont have the time but mabye if this is given a chance some people might not be accused wrongly
Not having an e-mail... What you are proposing is simply too complex to be effective, this is exactly what ban appeals are for, showing evidence and proving your innocence or apologizing. There's no need to make simple things complex when simple is already working just fine.
