Day 1:

I awoke to find myself stripped of all my possessions and cash. I must have been robbed, or maybe I drunkenly gave away all my stuff. I do have one item from my previous life actually: a deed to a trade shop -- Station 14. I have to wait for some legal issues to be resolved before the shop is mine, though.

I need some starter cash, so I vote and get lucky - six nether stars. I sell them to a market shop and buy some diamonds. With wood from /kit starter, I have a shovel, pickaxe, sword and a set of armor -- all diamond, all unenchanted. I still have 2-3k in my pocket as well.

My plan is to make money from mining and use the money/exp to steadily upgrade my tools. Let's hit the mines...

Day 2: (these will probably get more boring/technical now. I am not a creative writer)

The first upgrade I am going for is Fortune 3 for my pickaxe; I will need 6000 experience points.

Update: Sold my nstars from voting and I ran around looking for good deals on exp. I barely had enough money/exp to reach 6000. I now own a Fortune 3 DPick. However, I am broke again.

Day 3: I have a Fortune 3 Pickaxe now and I expected it to double my $$/hour. I made $6100 in 30 minutes using it, so it did almost double my $$/hour. At this rate, it will pay for itself in an hour and a half of mining! Upgrade your tools, new players! It pays for itself so quickly.

My next goal is to add Eff 5 to the Pickaxe (9000 exp). This might double my $$/hour once again. After that, I will probably put Eff5 on my shovel.

Day 4: I did some more fortune 3 mining yesterday, and I realized that Eff 5 only cost 7000 exp, not 9000. I had enough money/exp to buy it, so now I own and Eff5 Fort3 Pickaxe. I have yet to go mining with it, though. I was broke once again, but then I voted and only got 4 nether stars.

I will mine some with it when I can. Baby John has been a handful and I'm not sleeping well.

UPDATE: I just made $6300 in 15 minutes using Eff5 Fort3 Pickaxe. So, Fort3 roughly doubles your $$/hour and Eff5 roughly doubles it again. Projected out to 1 hour, that is over 25k/hour.

Also, I added Unb3 to the pickaxe now.

UPDATE 2: I just bought an Eff5 and Unb3 upgrade for my shovel. Money is flowing in fast now.
