As part of the ongoing EXPO project, which aims to create a brand new community space for the server, I introduce the EXPO WEST museum complex. Spanning over an entire town, this huge museum will explore the history of our server, bringing back lost buildings and history for all to explore. In order to create the best museum possible, we are asking YOU the community to tell us what you would like to see exhibited. oohh nice to see expo west transforming into something real nice! You could cooperate with some of the older staff members and write the actual history of the server . They tried doing something like that in the lobby server but there is nothing else but a mention of how it started only. Also, do a wall with the heads or names of all staff that passed from ECC till the present it could be a wing next to the overall history of ECC. Will edit the post if I think of anything else
Yeah I always found that very brief history in the lobby somewhat lacklustre. I've spent far too long searching the depths of the forums for clues and have managed to piece together a lot of stuff, but any veteran players who wants to contribute would be great (so let me know if you find any )
The EXPO Museum is currently looking for people to contribute to it's development. We are looking for people with a clear knowledge of the server's history to assist with developing new exhibitions, or individuals with an enthusiasm for sourcing rare/unique items that the museum can display. If you feel that you have the ideas and skills necessary and would like to help the museum grow, please get in touch now!
We are also giving players the opportunity to have a wing of the museum named after themselves! To receive this honour players must donate $25,000+ to go towards the further development of the museum. In addition all donators, regardless of the amount given, will be recognised in our donor memorial located in the EXPO gardens. It would be neato to see some more exhibits about some of the old spawn features like the snipe chest and the night club. You can also put in some exhibits focused around the Rising addition and the Spawn contest. Let me know if you need help with any of this, I'd love to get involved
Open to both. Any items that we can get long-term are great, but definitely still looking to rent items on a short-term basis for special display too.
I would love to include the old nightclub, but I have looked before & couldn't seem to find any accurate record of it. If you have any screenshots or knowledge of exactly what it looked like that could help in reconstructing it, then would be a great help!
Also looking for screenshots of the ultra-old spawn from 2011 which was underground with a cactus shrine & portals around the walls. Any veteran players remember it? @Mission001
The Rubix Cube - the Wool Shop The other Biggish Building - The Block Shop The Golden Cup - It was used as a Selling Area, Andrew would put up a great deal say buying fish for $100 each and you could sell at the sign until it was emtpy. The Ying Yang Building - Not Sure, The Sword Building - Im sure was a PvP store or the Portal to the PvP area, cant remember if the pvp area existed then,
