It has come to my attention that quite a few people, especially builders, fail to understand some words ECCers use on a daily basis. These words are exclusive to ECC. Some are not real words, and are yet used in our language. So, here we go- Order: No. , Word , Part of Speech/Acronym/Saying , Definition #1 Nub (noun) A term the people of ECC use to say "noob", which means a dumb, or weird person. Some use it to show affection to others on the forums or in-game (some people say m8 as a substitute) #2 WC (acronym) An acronym used in chat to say "wrong chat", which means that they are talking in the wrong chat color. This does not mean "water closet", also known as "the restroom/ bathroom". #3 Hackusate (verb) A made-up word made to say "to accuse others of hacks". #4 nstar (noun) A shortened version of the word "netherstar". #5 Necro (verb) To post on a old thread that has not received a post for more than 14 days, thus making the thread locked #6 Lotto (noun) The server lottery. #7 dat profit (saying) Mostly used in lotto to say "you overdid the ticket amount and won, but lost money overall" . #8 pm (verb) the way of saying the command /pm <playername> , which allows you to privately talk to a specific player. #9 msg (verb) the way of saying the command /msg <playername> , which allows you to talk to another player. #10 tp (verb) the way of saying the command /tp , which teleports one player to another. This is available only buying buying a feature. #11 NO U (saying) the way of saying "you don't have any more points to the arguement and/or are accusing yourself or becoming a hypocrite". #12 Gravel/Sand Monster (noun) A placement of gravel/sand blocks where it can stay in where it was placed unless made in contact. Contact will make the "monster" fall to the ground. Large "monsters" can be huge and contact can result in player suffocation. That's all I can recall. More will be added if any more are brought up or remembered.
Ill look for ecc terms i dont know (im fairily new, and am used do different slang) and post them so you can define them! This is a great idea.
No replies have been on that in a while. And I'm sure that DarthRevan is still permabanned. I'll add the terms onto this one.
