What if...we could buy capes at spawn, capes from Minecon, capes with andrew on it, or even your own face cape. Correct me if I'm wrong, isnt it possible to put your face on a cape like a players head, and have it change with your skin? If we could buy and wear capes around the server to show our wealth, that'd be awesome!
There is no such plugin if you are reffering to ingame, but outside of game I don't think we have the knowledge of making and putting capes on a person but then I could be wrong because the aether mod gives a cape for donating I believe so this is possible I just don't know how. Plus just a cape isn't worth it, like austinsplaneguy has a cape and didn't donate for it, he probably just made it and put it on his person, therefore this not being worth it, and a cape isn't worth much, maybe just $5. The server doesnt need a donation feature for $5 because it won't help ecc at all.
Not technically... But if your sever had a mod on it, it would mean every player logging in would need the same mod. It might be nice. Doesn't the server have like a $20 custom tag? Why not a 20$ custom cape?
The only way to keep you from having to download something would be a plugin. So unless someone found one that would work with the gazillion other plugins, or we designed one our self, it seems like a lot of work and very very little gain.
I must say I agree that it is not worth the time/effort/work etc. It is one thing to have a custom tag (which is already built into our system) but a custom cape which would require so much work doesn't seem worth it. If you want a cape then you can download the cape mod, but, only you and anyone else with that mod will see it. The only way to have an official 'cape' in Minecraft is to attend MineCon which is why Andrewkm has one. Revanrose6
My 2 cents is I do not know if possible or something. Make a force texture pack. So like optifine maybe people can donate like 20 dollars for a cape and design it for make it a rankable thing. So people with texture pack see each others capes.
You can't, minecraft loads capes the same way they load skins, which is from a central server. A minecraft server has no control over this.
If you donate for optifine you get a cape to all optifine users; We make our own texture pack with that type of stuff and when you donate you get a cape. Possibly when you get Ecoleader you get that a set cape.
