Hello People Of ECC! I come here today with some exiting news! Andrewkm has approved my newspaper business, and I am very glad to do this for you guys. However, there is something that I wanna tell you guys. PLEASE DO NOT COPY THIS IDEA!!!!! I know that Tguy has done this, but who really cares. I didn't copy him! Read below for the explanation. Please DO note that I did not come up with this idea! The Idea came from Viktor2684, so thank him on VENTRILO. The members of the business are Dark_Tonitrus, monkeyBUTT244, and me the owner. With this newspaper, I will update you guys on what has been happening in the last 7 days. Each newspaper will be priced at $50-$100 EcoDollars, depending on how long the article is, and how much effort was put into it. Also, please reply down below on what the title of the newspaper should be, and by that I mean what should the headline or whatever be? For Example, The New York Times Here are the prices for the Newspapers Weekly Newspaper-Manually Buy Newspapers Each Week For Only $100! Monthly Newspaper- Catch Up On What Has Happened In The Past Month For $1000! Weekly Subscription- Get Newspapers Every Week For $800 A Month! If You Want To Get An Advertisement In The Newspaper, then pm me ingame, or mail me if I'm not on. Also Explain It The Most You Can, And If It's Too Much Then I Recommend Starting A Conversation With Me With A Brief Description Of The Advertisement, and Don't Advertise Other People's Things Unless They Let You. The Cost Of Putting An Advertisement In Here Will Be $50! Every Sunday A New Newspaper Will Be Published, but we will not publish one until we have a name for the business. So leave your suggestions down below on what the newspaper name should be. I really look forward to making these for you guys. One of the many features this newspaper will have is economy updates so when you are gone for a while it is easier to get back into the game. Please buy 1 newspaper, sample it see if you like it and if you do buy next weeks edition!

He let it die i believe... Anyway, grant, It's a lot cheaper for me to buy a newspaper every week myself then get a weekly subscription. Tweak your prices :/ The ECC Times Eco-Chronicle Daily Post-ECC Economy Harold Surely, one of those, or at least a variation that you like, would work for a name?
Technically there's nothing stopping more than one newspaper business being run. There's hundreds in the real world. Just means you've got to make yours more appealing than your competitors.
To be perfectly honest, why do you need a newspaper when the forums have all the info and updates you need. You could just even follow ECC twitter.
Well not "Grant News" because that is a bit personal, selfish, and mean to the other crew members. The crew members come up with the ideas and information, I just write the official article.
You know... That is true. It's just that I would like to have a thriving business, and I don't really want anyone taking over, because that would, for one, be a waste of book&quils. Two, that would make the business pointless(if the other business overtakes). And lastly, the newspaper business might go out of business, so that is why I say that.
Well "following" is the wrong word there. For one reason, it would help me and my crew earn money. Two, you won't have to check the website everyday for updates, cause we'll just cover a whole week for you. And three, I am really trying to get mayor, and I wanna be important for once on ECC.
profit for #2 and #1 that would be, because that was the price from the old newspaper business that died down. I lowered the price for a month from 1k to 800 I believe
I think this is a great idea. Some people never go on the forums, they just get info from people in-game. Andrew had this huge news post, 3 days later a president in-game asks me what I'm talking about, he didn't know. Besides, i miss a lot of the rule changes ect, Grantcfo will those be mentioned? Also, will you interview people? Like a weekly "Mayoral (yes, "Mayoral" is a word, look it up) Interview". You pick a random town owner, usually a mayor, and interview them. You know, one of those Q and A's Example: Q: What plot sizes do you sell? A: 10x10's 20x20's 30x30's and i have two 50x50's atm. Q: When did you get mayor? A: I think it was about 5 weeks ago, was awesome Q:So about how big is your town, [townnamehere]? A:I've flattened all of it, about half is filled with plots, got a farm I'm building currently. Q: Anything you want to tell our readers? A: I'd be glad to help anyone who has questions, if you need a plot just pm me, if your a builder and don't have the cash, send me a pm or mail and we can work out a farm job for a plot.
