most of you have seen giant death pits. many of you make them for use of excavation or farming. so here is my idea. get a good pick or two and mark a 16x16 area within one chunk or however big you want to make your farms. then, remove everything down to bedrock. smelt all the ores and all the cobble. and voila, tons of exp and space to build a farm. just an idea for you all to dwell on. PS. make sure to cover it up and place warning signs if this is in the wild.
