Thread Title: The Auction Plugin, the plugin that replaces the auction channel to be more organised. Minecraft Name: WarMachine8 Suggestion: i am suggesting that we should use this plugin, it would be great. Reason: I think we should get the Auction Plugin because many people talk in the auction channel and it can get a bit annoying. And auction can get a bit spamy, when there is more than 1 auction happening, which can get confusing. The Auction Plugin is organised and easy to use. An auction plugin limits to just items to be sold. It limits your freedom by allows just items to be auctions off, that means people can't auction off unlimited e-repairs, not to mention this plugin doesn't even work with enchantments, or exp.
I know of another plugin that does but ofcorse you can't auction off EXP ( this plugin does support Enchants) and unlimited e-repairs. To me that stuff should be sold on Trade chat.
-1 - As far as I know, every time someone starts/bids on an auction, a multi-line message comes up, this would cause loads of spamming for more then one auction/popular auction. And, as Kuke said before, it limits the things that you can auction off in the auction chat. The only benefits that I can see in this, is 1) as you said, it would be more tidy. 2) many times people forget who one the auction and have to ask around. this, according to my knowledge of this plug-in, would stop it. Overall, I do not think we need it, and Andrewkm probably wouldn't install it anyway, as it is another 'useless plug-in' that we don't need. I also think that we are doing fine with our auction channel, and it gives players a lot more freedom on what they want to do with it. Most players are happy with the way it is now according to my opinion. ~4tee
Even with an auction where you could auction off EXP, people also like to auction off plots, unlimited donation features, and I don't think this plug-in is compatible with auctioning off enchanted tools which everyone likes to do. I think the auction channel that we have now is perfectly fine, and there is nothing wrong with it. ~4tee
