i recently upgraded my computer's operating system. Now minecraft won't work. I have tried redownloading from minecraft.net but that didn't work. I have a Mac on 10.6.3 (yes I know it's old). Anyone have any suggestions?
Can your computer get OS X Yosemite? It is free and Apple recommends to get it. Actually I was just looking around and I saw that Minecraft can not run on that old of a version: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/archive/legacy-support/1812116-mac-system-requirements
I saw that too, but minecraft worked on my computer before I got the OS update. Yosemite is not supported on my computer.
I recently updated my IMac to OS X Yosemite, and minecraft is runnning just fine. Before I updated however, I couldn't play minecraft. (This is actually why I had to update). http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum...iscussion/939948-cant-play-on-mac-os-x-10-5-8 If you read some of those comments, it might help you. Question: What software version are you running? Leopard, Snow Leapord, Lion? My only suggestion is to try the following: 1.) Click the little apple in the top left hand corner 2.) Click "Software Update" 3.) It should check to see if you have any avaible software updates IF YOU DO: Update your computer If YOU DON'T: 1.) Open the app store 2.) Search for Lion 3.) Try to update to that software.
