All these new builders keep going to AUC Because its all bright and colorful but there almost ALWAYS doing Trades... If we switch the two colors around Trade will start being used appropriately because its a bright color for everyone to see... hopefully the builders will stop using AUC for trades.
This is very true, I think that the grey should go away all around, it just makes some people have a harder time of reading it.
Not only that, but.. Auction gets tons and tons of bright, teal blue messages. It hurts the eyes, but being in the channel can be important for a business-type person. Grey auction and teal or grey trade would work out much, much better.
Both channels need to be just as noticeable as each other, otherwise I can see people using trade to do auctions the same way they use auction for trades now. And I can 100% confirm that builders use auction for trades because it's big and bright, as I had, numerous times as a moderator, been told by a builder that they won't stop using the channel because it grabs attention. /shout is meant for grabbing attention, not trade/auction. If business-type people need an attention grabber, they should use /shout, not auction just because it costs nothing.
