    Suggestion: people using minechat cannot join SG

    Reason: I had this crazy idea that when people join SG, by minechat, the players are still registered. when that happens, SG can last even longer...even to a restart. plus it falls under trolling in the rules. i would like minechat users not able to be joining SG because it is trolling and it is not fun trying to kill an invisible person.

    As far as the server is concerned, a player connected through minechat is the same as a player connected through the desktop client.

    No, the IP address just tells the server where to send the information. If my phone and my computer where connected though the same router the server would see them as having the same IP. If I was connected through 3g than it would show a different IP but the IP is still just an address, it doesn't tell you any information about the device.
