Here is a quick and easy guide to posting pictures on the EcoCityCraft forums! You'll need to do this if you wish to submit a complaint, in some cases LWC removal request or grief reports, and also just for fun! Step 1: Take your screenshots. Start by taking a screenshot. In game this can be done by pressing your F2 button, and there are a couple more buttons you can use to improve your screenshots. Pressing F1 in game will remove your UI, which can make screenshots look cleaner by removing the chat box and all the other extras on the screen. Of course, don't do this if you're taking a screenshot of chat. Pressing Shift+F3 will bring up some extra information about the area you're in, such as your location. This can be helpful in reports to help moderators find your problem. F5 will change your perspective. Pressing it once will allow you to see yourself in third person from behind, pressing it twice will allow you to see yourself from the front. This is awesome for fun pictures! Step 2: Find your screenshots. After you've taken your screenshot with F2, they will be found in the minecraft screenshots folder. It can be found using the following path for most systems: Computer > C: drive > Users > [Computer Account Name] > AppData > Roaming > .minecraft > screenshots Once you've found them, it's time to upload them to the internet! Step 3: Upload your screenshots. There are a couple sites you can use for this. I'm going to cover how to use Imgur, as it's the simpliest and most popular way to upload images to the forums. Upload to Imgur: Go to http://www.imgur.com You can choose to register for the site, but it's not a requirement. On the front page, there's big text that says "Upload Images" under it is a button that says "Computer". Click on computer, and then browse through your files until you have found the ones you want to upload. Once you've selected your screenshots, click "Start Upload". After a couple seconds, it will take you to your uploaded image which is now available on the internet. Step 4: Post your screenshots. To link to the forums now, you have two options: 1. Select the code under "Link (email & IM)", this will give you the direct link to the image. People will have to click on your link to see you screenshot. 2. Select the code under "BBCode (message boards & forums)", this option will make your image actually appear in your post, no clicking required to see it! We advise that if you have many images, you select option 1 for linking on the forums. If you only have a couple, select option 2.
