With the addition of Jigsaw blocks converting a stack of nether stars per Jigsaw, I figured I'd make a resource pack that changes Jigsaw blocks. I made a custom texture that's similar to the nether star and the resource pack changes the jigsaw block's appearance to that of an item so it looks like you're holding an item instead of a block. I also renamed the jigsaw block to "Super Nether Star." Spoiler Download the pack here.
