Minecraft Name:Gernen Suggestion:/near to be removed in the mining world. Reason: As many people in ECC have spawners, the /near command allows people with extracommands to find and break them without even trying. This is unfair and i think it should be disabled as they need to find the spawners themselves, as that would raise xp price. Any Other Information:You got the plugin Link To This Plugin:^
/near is a part of ext. commands not creations. I don't use the mining world so it doesn't really effect me but I don't think it would make a huge difference to the xp market.
Then um, what in the world is the point of even having it there? Can you think of a reason for using /near besides being able to hunt down people and because your just "curious"?
You don't understand you don't have the feature, I don't want to mine knowing that someone is mining about 50 blocks away from me.
+1 from me. I once found 7 spawners all near me (I was so fricking excited)(i dident use hacks either so dont even start with that) I tried to sell it to someone in the auction chat by saying what i had found and was looking to make some pretty great money. POW!! out of the blue someone had used to /near command and was now destroying all of my spawners that will most likely never be seen again. I lost all my money that I could have used on something grand (yes i did just say grand). Would love to see this command out of the mining world.
Its still something isnt it? Also donations were made to not supply something to be used againist or to harm other players, but instead help the donators affecting no one else. the /near command affects the spawner owners as they loost the spawner they paid/found.
Let me get this straight. You think removing near will raise prices? That is the complete opposite. People who hit you down in the mining world are breaking spawners, which in hand, RAISES prices. If you have a ton of spawners, xp will be worthless, kinda like how it is right now. You don't like the xp price? Lets just remove spawners from mining world in general. Make it nether only.
Perhaps...we could disable mobs dropping exp in the mining world (if you could disable specific mobs, only skeletons, zombies, and spiders/cave spiders would be disabled, they are the ones from spawners). That way we would be able to get lots of mob drops from the mining world, but exp would only majorly come from the nether.
the thing is, how would we enforce it, there would be no solid way to tell if someone is using /near to find other players
