My suggestion is that we somewhat enforce spam of forum ratings. There would have to be a certain number of ratings by one player, within a certain amount of time for it to be enforced. Another idea is the amount that a staff member sees fit to be spam would be enforced. This would be under Section 10 of the ECC Network rules. Thanks for reading, and please be professional and respectful in the comments below.
Honestly, I don't see why people care. Spam me with all the ratings you want, you're only giving me more ratings.
Granted I understand that ratings can be annoying but since they can be disabled in settings I don't really see the point in all this. If you don't like them then turn them off. They're there so people can voice their opinion with out necessarily typing out full blown responses.
I like to see when people give me other ratings, but if someone takes 25 minutes just to give you a bunch of ratings, it's just kinda stupid and excessive.
@29dude I think it is completley pointless enforcing rules on ratings, it is after all an increase in ratings for you. If we're going to enforce rules on them, what is the point in having them. If you don't like them turn them off, but you can't be picky about what ratings you want and dont want
When did ratings turn into this debacle, this all seems petty to me. These are ratings people, get over it.
Why is gaining forum points such a problem to you ? It's great for 99% of ecc -11111111111111111111111111111111
Just ignore the user(s) on the forums. Shouldn't affect you to much. If their troll ratings with the sole purpose of annoying you, ignore them. If you make suggestions like this they'll continue lmao
I don't spam forum ratings personally, but I use them a lot. Sometimes, it gets excessive for some. My question is: how would we tell what is spam and what is just being nice?
Spam/trolling is ratings that have absolutely nothing to do with the content with the post. ex. Rating a post that says "You're an idiot" friendly. Or a staff application optimistic.
