I think our wonderful devs should make a pluging like the auction on but for the trivia channel. for you nub who complain.... and want me to not be lazy here is a few more words like a command to set you question in the a queue so everyone get a turn and you can set the winnings so you have to pay out. there can be a cancel command also the one with the answer first would be detected by the plugin and paid out/ announced
No, way to complicated. Not worth the time. Can already see issues with it. Maybe if you explain it a bit more, but this was typed up in less than 10 seconds...
The host asks a question. He sets a prize. First person to answer correctly wins. Where is this complication you speak of?
The part where the question could Have multiple answers, and the host sets it to a specific 1. It kills the social aspect of everyone guessing all togeather and everyone typing /trivia guess [answer]. I hate how the auction plugin is autonomy kills the actual trading aspect as well, can't did that though.
I am looking into where you can just type your guess and the first correct answer the plugin sees is the winner... Not a command you just type in that channel. I understand that there would have to be a rule for no talking except answers in the trivia channel(kinda of like adds only in trade). If the above doesn't work '/guess (guess)' would work. or '/g' <-- not sure if that would be conflicting. only commands needed would be '/trv (question) (answer) (prize)' and '/trv cancel'. I am also suggesting a set time like 60 seconds or whatever so people can do super long ones. or maybe 90 secs.... and because I am sure the admins would like to tax this? *cough cough*
I don't see a purpose to this then again I always turn off sg auction trivia and most of the time global
This would cause massive amounts of lag, filtering chat, not something that we would do nicely, plus, the way auction works, it can't auto scan for bids in /ch auc. If it was added, it'd just be a modification of the current auction plugin, and IMO I'd think it won't be added just for lack of neccessity
