Minecraft Name: Gernen Suggestion: If deathmatch has occurred, teleport all players back to spawn every 30 seconds. Reason: Players running away, making games longer for no reason. Any Other Information: N/A Link To This Plugin: Would have to be coded from scratch.
-1, sometimes I haven't got food and I need to run and get more, also get in a kit-favorited position
@Gernen JamieSinn is currently working on this. I have a poll open that you can vote on in the survival games section of the forums. Feel free to discuss it there as that will be what Jamie looks at.
-1, this suggestion removes all strategic outplay which comes with deathmatch. If I'm being chased by somebody with the ability to two hit me I'd really not appreciate being tp'ed back towards them, I'd much rather run for 90 seconds until they're strength potion has ran out and then fight.
Would this really solve the problem? I mean if someone is able to run from spawn from the initial tp, won't they be able to keep doing it? If anything I imagine that being tp'ed back to spawn would just be annoying. Imagine getting closer to someone, getting a hit in on them, and then being tp'ed back to spawn and have to start again.
What about a deathmatch bounds, like they can't go outside a certain area. Or they die if they go outside the bounds.
I think the question with this is do we sacrifice the quality of a good fight for the convenience of having the fight be 2-3 minutes shorter? I don't do sg often but as a personal principle, I never make that sacrifice regardless of the situation. -1
