[Suggestion] Wiki introduction

Hey, I'm basically new to Minecraft and ECC. I really love the community here at ECC, and the wiki is just phenomenal.

But I suggest some improvements.

1)

After I saw ECC highly ranked on a minecraft server list, I typed in the IP address and boom. I'm on minecraft multiplayer for the first time, in front of a sign. I read the signs before me, but I was still confused. I didn't understand what the 'structure' of the game world was. Was it round? Is there a creative mode like [Mod - edit]? I had to ask around. I guess the good thing about that is that you are encouraged to meet people... but I spent time trying to read the wiki, and I wasn't getting anything clear toward directly answering these questions.

I suggest either adding a preface to the intro, or making a page that is about how the structure of ECC is. These are the questions I had when I first arrived.

What is Mainworld? What is Spawn? What is towns? Are towns and spawn in Mainworld?
What is mining world and signs?
What is nether/aether?
How does all this work together as "one" world.

Also, I didn't see this there, but I think it should be important to state in bold, that if someone is logged out for 14 days, their enderchest and inventory is cleared out. Now, I'm still wondering this myself; inventory is the toon's on person inventory, not chests, so mats in chests will still be there? Or will it all be wiped?

2)

I saw the town portal map, on the forum... I had been looking everywhere for such a thing on the wiki... and I had a tough time finding the map thread again... There needs to be a portal map on the wiki. There just really ought to be, and it ought to explain the significance of the floor colors, cause I didn't understand that till I saw the portal map thread.
