Minecraft Name: a18greek18 Suggestion: Have /warn's reset periodically (Still keep them on file, but have the number accumulated towards a temp-ban reset every so often) Reason: Not going to say much about this because I'd end up flaming staff if I did. We'll save that for another day . With that being said, the warn system is trash. Harsh, but true. In short, warns never resetting is a MAJOR problem. I'll use myself as an example. Punishments from the /warn command were introduced about 5 months ago (this thread). Over that fairly long time frame I have accumulated 4 /warn's. Now, here I am, sitting on 4 warns just waiting for a time where I'm away for a day so that I can purposely get a temp ban. Is that really what the system has come to? Players accumulating a few warns over time and then ending up having to break a rule just so that their /warn's can reset and they can feel safe again. That's disgraceful if you ask me. Now I know some of you are thinking "Don't get a /warn in the first place" or "Don't be an idiot." Sure, you're right. I've been trying not to get them, but will that really do anything with our very inconsistent staff team [some of whom love giving /warn's for anything(you know who you are)]? Any Other Information: Nope Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: Our /warn plugin
+1 Maybe once every 2-3 months? Or is that too short/long? I shouldn't still have a /warn that happened 4 months ago. I don't have any /warns like that, but still.
In addition to what you said, warns from nearly 5 months ago should not effect you to this day, +1 to the idea of having them reset periodically.
