-1 I like my sparkles as a forum gold feature; wouldn't make forum upgrades worth getting when everyone who has VIP gets them.
+1/-1 I agree that the sparkles should be kept for those that donated for them, but something a little extra for $500+ donators might be in order.
I mean... you do get a medal. That's the point of the feature medals, show how much you've gotten. Why an extra at $500?

The reason I suggested this was to get the communities ideas rolling on what to give back or add to the VIP donors, I suggested something like fourm sparkles, not fourm gold feature, sparkles to show they're VIP or something other than the current [VIP] tag we get ingame. I wanted to see what other VIP donators would like other than just the [VIP] tag, not the forum gold feature that everyone is -1'ing this suggestion about. So please, don't assume things that you don't have 100% knowledge about. I agree, I think that our donors that help fund the server should get more than just a [VIP] tag. Maybe we could give them medals on the forum. Those would be really cool and show how much people have donated. Also, I have some ideas about some in game features we can give them. I was thinking something that could repair all your tools in a single command. Or maybe a sword in sg. Heck, we can even enchant the sword and add a bow to it as well. We can call them "kits" and make them usable every 10 minutes... or every game! Sorry for the sarcasm but honestly, "donors" get enough. I say "donors" because I think it is fair to say that the majority of the users that "donate" are only giving up money for the features. And these features are well worth it as well. It's not like you are donating $500 and getting a t-shirt. You are paying $15 for powerful kits, the water ability, well... you know the features. I think that the features are more than enough. And if you are paying $500+ simply to "donate", what's another 25 bucks to help the server, right?
