Minecraft Name: zwunder Suggestion: I suggest that veteran users, Meaning on over a year, and that make the request, get their own chat channel similar the the donor chat channel. Reason: This would be nice because we can chat with each other without all of the younger/newer users seeing, and we can be old farts and talk about the old days in peace. I doubt it'll happen - it's just an extra chat channel that would hardly get used in my opinion. Most users who last for over a year aren't really active anymore, so I don't see there being much of a point to all the extra applications when that person will just find out there is nobody to talk to in there and they never use it themselves. Most of the time we are old farts when we bring something up in ventrilo that relates to an old event of some sort - we won't talk about those things that bring it up in the channel, and I doubt we'd move there once we started. I'm a veteran user myself, but I don't support it. I don't believe veterans deserve anything fancy at all, it will only make new users feel more unwelcome, since it seems those who have been here a while are getting all the attention. It makes it feel like nobody cares about the new users because it would seem like we only care about the old ones by giving them perks. As much as I'd love to chat with veterans only sometimes, there are too many reasons not to add it in my opinion.
How would it discourage those new to the server? It is a way of showing them who they can trust and who is a dedicated player. Not a chat but instead something like the [$$$] I'm not sure what it would say maybe like [Vet] lol. All i know is when i was a builder (April 2012ish) I looked up to those with the [$$$] or [VIP] And i strived to be like them which led me to donate for tps. Jus an idea.
