[Suggestion] User-user bank transactions

I'm guessing it's not meant to be ;(

 

I believe what you are Suggesting is a core feature of the banking add-on we are using.

4 words: alt accounts transferring money.

 

How would this be any different than a similar thing happening in game? We catch them, we ban them.

 

1+, still I don't see why we need an application for this. And the GameAdmins+ are quite busy. I think this should be added but no need for applications.


Just type the username and amount then "pay" and "Are you sure....". We do not need an application to transfer money in game so why should we on the forums?

 

you don't catch them, and you don't ban them. You ban them when its to late.

 

Alt accounts are caught (or in some cases they finally just admit to it) - the problem is that it takes months for that to happen sometimes.
Alt accounts are banned when caught and rules have been broken - the problem is that they appeal and
return (many times just to do it again) to the server.

That's what i'm saying. No matter how obvious, mods wait until they admit it. They see a builder log in without a forum account, and drop 200 tickets in lotto. Ehh nothing wrong there, seems normal.

 

Also i think that for now, we should make user-user transactions at own risk, if there is too much staff work. Meaning its possible but not safe.

 

I personally think it should be like a checkbook.

In other words, let's say me and you make a deal for $850,000 down on a melon sword, and $150,000 in payments afterwards for two weeks. You can upload screenshots, write notes and so forth. Just a nice way to keep track of transaction.

You should be able to log all of your purchases as well in it. That would be pretty cool.

 

The problem is, forum stuff is easily faked compared to in game. Therefore large transactions are not to be done there.
