Minecraft Name: OnSceneReporter Suggestion: Alter two features of the town move application. a) Move a town any amount of blocks in any direction (instead of only 100 blocks). b) Move a town from either world, to either world (instead of only the same world). Reason: This would make the town move application very valuable. It would not just allow for the re-alignment of towns, but if people are bored with the landscape they have built on or destroyed. People are always mumbling that they wish world edit applications for biome changes were available again. This revision to the application would also allow people to move to a different biome. Other Information: With a more open application, this may make the town move system more tantalizing for people to spend money on, which in the end takes ecodollars out of the economy. How much would this cost? Or is this a new idea, replacing the old application? EDIT: I think that this should cost upwards into the $500k range. $200k is fairly cheap for this. I think that would make the app more valuable.
I fully support this idea and I, along with many other ECC users, would jump at the opportunity to move my towns together. I'm not sure I can agree with you though knears, I think the 200k or 250k price would be good but 500k is a lot. That's half a million and way too much in my opinion. Once you get past 400k range it'd be more worth it to buy another town. If this were to go through it would be hard to price but I was thinking 200-300k.
I think the existing price is at least appropriate, if a lower price may not be considered. There comes a point when if the expense and restriction is too high and people will abstain from using an application. The more easy the process is for anyone to engage in, the more flexible they feel their options are as a world of possibilities opens up -- and along with it a constant expenditure of money from the economy, which I feel powers ongoing goals and achievement.
If everyone moved their towns from legacy to rising what would be the point of two worlds? Now I most likely won't move mine but if I did I would only care to move my towns within the same world as I have one that is rather far away from my other clusters. I suppose I would be ok with this if it was like a 1 Mil application.
