Minecraft Name: stoler202 Suggestion: Add "Write what is says when you log on" to Reason of Ban and "You need to copy the full rule from the wiki" to Rule Violated. (Or something of the sort.) Make it crystal clear what you need to do to appeal. Edit: As @ZevZero suggested, also add a dropdown box to select which ECC service a player is banned from to avoid making them confused. Reason: Since players aren't told to do it in the form, a lot of staff's time is wasted on telling people to do that. Instead of telling people how to appeal properly, we let them appeal incorrectly and then have staff correct them. Inefficient! Any Other Information: N/A Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: Xenforo.
since we're on the topic of tweaking the ban appeal form, here's something that's been bugging me for a while... can we please, please switch this to a dropdown box? there's really only two three options to choose from.
I think that the ban appeal forum should be tweaked, anything to help builders! Edit: Tweaked not twerked, forum has a dirty mind!
You should also make an area of which you state when you got banned. Also, maybe long temp bans (1 month+) can be appealed.
Long tempbans are only given for two reasons: 1. The result of an appeal, or 2. A ban for an illegal username that must be changed once Mojang's 30 day waiting time is up. Appeals for the former are pointless - appeal tempbans are given because they aren't appealable. Appealing the latter isn't useful because the player won't be unbanned before changing their name, which cannot happen if the last name change happened less a month prior.
