Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2002 Suggestion: Forum Ban people who make troll appeals. Reason: Let me make a troll appeal. Oh wait no, let me make 3 of them! I'll only get a 1 day forum ban after that! Any Other Information: N/A Link To This Plugin: XenForo
+1 This makes too much sense. If you want your appeal process taken seriously, forum ban the person posting troll appeals. No questions asked, just boom, ban. A person making a mockery of the appeal process deserves to have the hammer brought down on them.
How inconsiderate of all of you. The last thing we want to do is offend an offender. After all, this is a game and don't we all want to have fun? Don't we all just love wasting our time and the staff time with useless dribble? Absolutely no person should take me serious as I would be happier if there was an auto 3day temp ban handed out for these time wasters.
+1 if you don't care to appeal the right way then you should be made to wait to think over it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This... this isn't really an issue honestly. How often does someone actually post a troll appeal, much less more than one? Yes it's stupid. I understand that. But it's already done primarily by people who simply don't care... and they still wouldn't care.
It's a pathetic waste of time for staff, and in that appeal no warnings were issued (I have no clue why that is).
You didn't answer my question. The person who posted that hasn't been on the forums since. If they had been banned, I honestly doubt they'd notice or care. Harsher punishments work for situations that are caused often and frequently by repeat offenders. I don't see how it would accomplish anything here.
Well, in the Aporth case, about a month ago, aporth kept posting troll appeals until dewsy banned him from the forums. It actually can help deter troll appeals.
But it didn't deter it, did it? They still seem to be happening at about the same rate, rarely. I agree that if somebody is actively causing a problem by doing it multiple times it's the right thing to do. If somebody has a history of trolling, I agree. I simply don't agree that it is the right call in all cases, which is what you're suggesting.
