Minecraft Name: chargers2417 Suggestion: The ability to trade-mark ideas, names, etc. Reason: So that players who have been thinking about something for a while, but necessarily don't have the funds or the idea fully developed don't need to worry about it being stolen. Any Other Information: It could cost 25-50k for a trade-mark and could take money out of the economy. Trademarking is a bad idea. People could abuse this system too easily. Let's say someone has an idea, but not the funds, he tells someone else the idea, and then another person trademarks it, prohibiting the person who came up with the idea to actually do it. Another thing this will do is stop people from expanding on other people's ideas. It's not about who's first in this world, it's about who can execute it the best, if someone stole your idea then make your idea better and execute the better idea.
This and the fact that what project would cost you over 50,000 dollars? It would be cheaper to do the project then buy the trademark. Edit: And how would you enforce this?
