Minecraft Name: Nicho144 Suggestion: Make it to where you do not have to be the original owner, but just the current owner to apply for the spawn-town portal application (and any other reasonable application). Reason: The original owner of my town Delaxia (thedeluxstone), sold it to me for the reason he will almost NEVER be on. Any Other Information: I have not looked through the forums to see if this thread already existed, I have not actually applied yet, but only looked at the wiki (but I have tried to put a town that was mine next to Delaxia and I was shut down for not being the original owner), This is the first time I really thought of it, and I do however have a town 15 *rolls eyes* blocks away and can put a portal their, but would rather not! Well yes I understand that, and I won't try to get to off topic,... but why? Why do you have to pay practically 300k+ dollars just to be an owner of an owners town? Ridiculous. I mean if technically a mayor selling a town has you sign a contract saying " I am giving my town to etc." make it the purchaser of the town a "legit" owner? I mean the original owner is giving him control and yet the original owner still has final say? WHY!?
Its been this way forever. They only recently added the town claims. Why? Because that user applied for the rank, and got the town. Theres really no other way around it, its been made, and they aren't going to change it because somebody wants to pay less Ecd. Its a hardcore economy server, you should go with the flow.

" <- and this doesn't make sense. And unless you actually know they won't change it, don't say it and if they were smart they would change it. Okay now can you explain why I can't build my fricking portal without being an original owner? @origamimaster10 or wait do I have to become a tycoon by a town claim, re-purchase my town for 400% more than what I originally paid and wait 6months? Look, I respect your suggestion, but its not my problem you don't like how the server works. Town portals are part of town features. Only the original owner can apply for town features. That includes Town pvp arenas, town warps, town chats, town portals, town heal signs, town relocation, and town flag setting change. Just because im currently a tycoon doesnt mean I havent been a resident or a mayor. If you want the honest truth I was a builder for a whole year. I own around 25 towns and im only original owner of 3. Im guessing you want a town portal because you can't set more than 1 home, am I right? Donate for multihome then.
-1 The owner of the town should have the final say about that goes into it period. Transfer the ownership over legally though an app if you want it to happen. If this is too much just put the portal in the town next to it. Or a warp sign.
Worldguard has nothing to do with this suggestion. This is all to do with the concept of 'Original Owner' and applying for features. This is not related to any mod/plugin etc.
This will not be added. The reason people get Tycoon and so on from there is because of the town claims. You have to be the original owner of the town in order to get the features. This would completely ruin the purpose of the Town Transfer system as well as the town claim system. -1
