Minecraft Name: ndm007 Suggestion: Add the possibility of adding space to a pre-existing town. Possibly make this a donation feature? Reason: I'm not sure how the current town plugin works so this may be completely undoable. Say you have a two towns next to each other but they are a few blocks of wild land in between them, you could then join them safely. Or say you need just a little bit of extra space for a structure you were building and don't want to leave a few blocks out in the wild. Perhaps someone wants to be able to claim they have the biggest farm town on the server. Of course normal zoning rules would still apply and only the original town owner would be able to do this. Any Other Information: The cost to do this could be based on the amount of volume added to the town, or possibly done in an upfront fee for an estimate (same way world edits used to be done). Of course there would need to be a limit of how many times this can be done on a single town. As the rules state: Your town must be between 100x100 - 200x200 length-x-width! This area cannot be decreased/increased in the future. Sorry. (Height will be secured all the way up to the sky, and all the way down to bedrock). NO SMALLER, NO BIGGER I just was wondering if it was able to be done, then why not make some money for the server off of it?
It is difficult to do with worldguard as andrewkm would have to extend your region or make a new one inbetween. Also, you should just plan yourself, seems a bit pointless. -1
I've seen this suggested before and each time it's been denied due to issues with worldguard or something of the sort. The best way to prevent mishaps such as spacing issues is simply to just plan ahead and know what you're doing. You can't just throw something together at random and expect it to come out nice.
Like what Gernen said, and what I often do is just pay for a Residents Mayor town. I have controlled towns of all sizes, and this is the cheapest and most effective way to do it in most budgets.
