[Description] I propose we change the buggy, rarely working tombstone thing that has a habit of not spawning a tombstone if you have moved in the last second (pretty likely) with a TombVault, of sorts. TL;DR: have a designated chest somewhere that your items always go to on death, unless the chest is already full [Commands] /tombstone create Works much like LWC's lock, except it also designates that chest as a TombVault. (Shortcut /ts c) Thus, it does not attempt to create a chest at all which is the current problem with tombstone, but rather just assigns an existing chest as your TombVault. /Tombstone destroy Simply removes the LWC lock and the TombVault designation from a chest, if and only if it is already a TombVault. (Shortcut /ts d) [Behavior] 1 TombVault maximum On death, the following things would be checked: (Is the player in a world which allows tombstone?) (Does the amount of items in the players inventory exceed the space in the TombVault?) if yes to the first and no to the second, it would instantly put the list of items into the TombVault. If no to the first, it would stop running. If yes to the first and yes to the second, it would store the players death items one at a time until the Vault runs out of space, afterwhich it would hold onto the remaining list until the player opens the TombVault or an excessive amount of time has passed (like 2 days or something). once the player opens the TombVault, it would begin depositing the remaining death items into the chest. [Arguments] Now, this is obviously a buff to TombStone for multiple reasons. First of all, it makes it much easier to retrieve your items. Second of all, this will protect your items even when in an area that would not normally allow chest spawn (Suffocation damage, someone else's town, lava, etc). HOWEVER, I think that is a good thing. Tombstone is already a meh feature, what with the fact that all the places it currently works being nearly impossible to die in, unless you are trying to die of course. Adding in this slight change that will make the feature actually consistent with the phrase on the donation of "The tombstone feature will assure you that when you die your items are safe and sound waiting for your return!" and get rid of the ability of certain people to cheese people with tombstone into losing their items by dueling them in an arena that they have access to and removing their permissions before finishing the fight (Something you are not notified of, ever). And to reiterate the above, the MOST COMMON form of death in the areas that this feature works in would be to lava damage, under which circumstances your tombstone won't even spawn as it cannot spawn inside of lava. [Potential Changes] Now, some of you may be thinking "WOW too op pls nerf fizz!", but really its not. Many other features of similar price (water+, fire+) give you complete immunity (unless you don't want it) whereas tombstone only gives you selective, buggy immunity. However, you may still think so. Thus, here are a few potential changes: Don't activate in PvP areas (Would require an additional check on death) Don't activate if dealt damage by another player recently, but still activate normally in PvP areas (would require keeping a timer after every tick of player damage) this would solve the PvP issue without making you suffer if you randomly die in an area that just so happens to be PvP Put a timer on collecting the items (Maybe you think having them there forever is a problem, even though its just a normal chest they can access quickly I imagine. adds a timer requirement on death) Honestly I don't think any of the above potential changes (just the three dots above this statement, not the whole suggestion lol) are so strong that they need to be implemented, but I offer them as potential solutions anyways. Any and all feedback appreciated, tear me down or build me up
