Minecraft Name: OK5698 Suggestion: For those that participate in Stock Trader I believe that we should have more flexibility to our portfolio. Allowing users to buy and sell stocks whenever they want rather than waiting three days for stocks to process. For example, if I were to buy apple stock at 10 am I should be able to sell it by 11:00 am that same day or whenever (given that it’s between the stock exchange hours.) Reason: Don’t have to wait as long to sell stock, more options, flexible approach, and more realistic. Any Other Information: Let me know what you think! I don't think we should be able to buy whenever we want but being able to sell a little sooner would be nice.
The current system is a way to maintain integrity until a longer term queue system is to be implemented by the dev AFAIK. Plus, I would look longer term than more than a few hours for an investment. There were problems of picking the biggainers rather than the right gainers, therefore, this helps counter that problem.
Buying and selling whenever you wanted to, within exchange hours would allow for abuse of the stock trader. There is a 15 minute delay between the real market and the ECC stock trader, so you can in effect, see into the future o.o. This, combined with people being able to dump millions and then quickly sell shares would be a disaster. However, I'd be all for the waiting period being reduced to 1 day again.
