The "Discuss this stock" is really just the button that admins can click to view the purchase logs on the stock. Long story short, I don't think andrew will want to enable it for the aforementioned reason.
The "discussion" forums are simply logs of purchased/sold stocks. Giving the public access would breach the privacy of "Private" portfolios. If you'd like to discuss a specific stock please create a thread in our stock trader subforum.
