Minecraft Name: Steveshizzle Suggestion: Enable sorting and filtering features for the Top Portfolios subsection in the Stocks forum Reason: As it is, the top portfolios are listed in order of total profit from stocks, highest to lowest. This means that individuals who have thrown hundreds of thousands of ECD into one Apple or Google stock are on top while players with more diverse portfolios are farther down. Personally, I like to see what other people are investing in and to see how diverse other people's portfolios are, but there's no way to find that without tediously going through each person's portfolio top to bottom. I believe it would be beneficial to include a sorting feature for this list that can sort player portfolios top to bottom in order of total profit (as it is now set as the primary), total invested, total market value, username, and whatever else, as well as a way to filter out either public or private portfolios. This will make it easier to view portfolios more similar to your own, as well as find a specific player's portfolio. Other Information: I would imagine sorting/filtering lists is feasible with the current forums platform, @314 @JamieSinn correct me if I'm wrong
After careful consideration of my limited PHP knowledge and basically nonexistent xenForo/stock trader plugin knowledge the answer is a clear "I have no idea". I don't know whether it is possible with the current plugin's functions. It should be possible to modify the plugin, but only Jamie can know whether it would be a good idea.
Won't happen. Stock add-on is on total code freeze and won't be updated by the author. I don't even like the fact I added it very much.
