I just found this on another servers forums and I wonder if we could use it for this forum for staff member profiles. @JamieSinn
What's wrong with how things are? It doesn't take very long at all to type a response directing a player to the appeals section. I don't want intimidating messages on staffs profiles, I don't think they're needed.
But, player X isn't supposed to write a message on your profile saying "unban me plz" :/ I really don't see how it's intimidating, it's not a "don't ask me anything" it's more of a "Don't ask me to unban you, file a appeal and it'll be handled shortly".
I don't get that logic? Should we have messages about rules on every single page? Absolutely no need for it imo
I don't think it's entirely necessary, but it's really nothing other than a helpful hint. Maybe not "don't post here" but like: Click here to post a Complaint. Click here to post a Ban Appeal. -- So players aren't doing both of them on staff profiles.
Because we can add the benefit of giving new players easy-to-access information. It's not just fixing a problem, it's adding something beneficial.
