That's certainly possible (and in terms of the users, probably true), but Jamie denied the idea of public feedback when locking the thread. The idea that this suggestion presents is already under consideration.
Working on drawing something up for this. As I said in the last suggestion, I like the idea. Also asked though: 1. What questions specifically should be included? 2. Where should this be linked from?
I feel like it should be open ended going only to nicit/andrew where you can just drop a comment about staff/issues and your username.
I think what he means is a form/survey that you would fill out (similar to the auto-formatted Complaint) that would be sent to andrew and you. In that, you could comment on staff, good or bad, and request staff changes in a more private setting. That's how I interpreted it, I could be wrong.
But if there's only 1 field it's just a forum PM. Especially seeing as staff wise, it really just needs to be sent to me.
Like I said on the other suggestion, I'm sure most staff wouldn't mind being Forum PM'd if you feel tere is something they could improve on, but obviously if there is a real complaint, PM nicit.
Maybe this could be done along with the monthly staff evaluation. Players could fill this out with the option to be anonymous. It could be done as a form on the top of the General Forum section, like how the ECC survey was done. It could look like this: IGN: Would you like this to be anonymous?: What are some things you would like staff to improve on?: Any specific members?: What are some things you think staff is doing well?: Any specific members?: Something along those lines. If it is requested to be anonymous only @Nicit6 could see who made it. Another idea is it being posted in the staff section of the forums.
The idea was that you could also give positive feedback, not just negative. survey kinda thing with 1-10 or neutral for each staff member and a place to make comments.
I believe this is a step in the right direction. Feedback is a very important aspect of working as part of an administrative team alongside a community. Having the ability to provide feedback gives players the opportunity to review and give the team a reflection on their capabilities and where things can be improved. Although, knowing the internet and stuff, you might get some butthurt banned players giving dishonest feedback lol. Goodluck with it!
