[Suggestion] Smelting McMMO

All it would require is a few tweaks in the code I would think of McMMO to add it back. That and a restart and it should work. Just have to be on the lookout for potential bugs is all.

Thanks to mission, who pointed it out to me, we have smelting, it just doesn't show in /mcstats.
Try /smelting, or try using a flux pick.

I agree, since smelting is more of a thing now, it should be added.

 

Well...smelting currently equals your mining skill (caps at 1000 though), so what exactly is this suggestion about?

 

To add smelting to the stats board, if it isn't already there.

I think he means that when you do "/mcstats" the 'smelting' ability should be listed.

 

Not sure whether that would count towards the total power level then, additionally to mining. So for those with mining 1000+ it could be another free 1000 levels towards the power medals...no idea though, just a guess.

Just for reference: It doesn't. I remember the Smelting being on the board before and it didn't add levels; just look at old McMMO powerlevel applications for that.

I support the idea of returning it to /stats for quick reference.

 

I don't really understand the point if it is the exact same level as your mining level?

 

Currently, you can only see your smelting level by using /smelting. I understand the suggestion to ask for the smelting skill to be added to /mcstats. However, it won't count towards your power level.
